Instructor: Carrie Furberg, BSN, RN, CRN
Carrie Furberg, BSN, RN, CRN, has over ten years' experience in radiology nursing, in vascular and interventional radiology as well as all imaging modalities. She is a Certified Radiology Nurse with clinical expertise in procedural sedation, cardiac CT, and radiation safety, and has prior experience in critical care, cardiac stepdown, and emergency care. She is a member of the Association for Radiologic and Imaging Nursing (ARIN) and RAD-AID International.

Beth Hogan, MSN, RN, CNOR, CASC, CGRN has almost four decades of
experience in ICU, Operating Room, Radiology, and most recently as a clinical director in
Gastroenterology. She is an active member with the Association of Operating Room Nurses
serving on the National Committee for Education and Society of Gastrointestinal Nursing as
Central New York’s regional President and on the National Committee for Patient Repository for
Education.
Subject Matter Expert: Julie Stefanski, MEd, RDN, CSSD, LDN, CDCES, FAND
Julie Stefanski, MEd, RDN, CSSD, LDN, CDCES, FAND is a SME Writer focused on topics related to food, nutrition & dietetics for Relias. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist and has been a certified diabetes educator since 2003. Ms. Stefanski earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and a master's degree in Adult Education with a special focus on distance learning. She was an adjunct instructor in the Stabler Department of Nursing at York College of Pennsylvania for 13 years. Stefanski is the owner of Stefanski Nutrition Services where she specializes in pediatric nutrition, diabetes, gastrointestinal issues and sports nutrition. Stefanski serves as national media spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics.
