Subject Matter Expert: Shelby Jones, MSN, RN
Shelby is a registered nurse with over seventeen years of experience practicing in intensive care, progressive care, medical-surgical units, inpatient and outpatient postoperative recovery, home health, and academia. During her ten years in the intensive care unit, she worked closely with OPOs to assist in the organ donation process, caring for patients giving the gift of life. She obtained a master’s degree in nursing education from the University of Central Florida. In addition, she is also a health and wellness writer and founder of The ICU Nurse Writes LLC. She enjoys writing educational material for healthcare providers and the public.
